Day 1 : Delhi to Colombo (-)

  • On arrival Colombo airport transfer to Kandy.
  • En-route, explore the Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage which was started in 1975 to house abandoned and wounded elephants; the orphanage has now grown into a big family.
  • Then, visit Mawanella. The Spice Garden at Mawanella is a beautiful place to purchase aromatic spices like cinnamon, cardamom, pepper etc.
  • Evening Dinner at hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 2 : Kandy to Colombo (-)

  • Morning breakfast at hotel. After breakfast Proceed for Kandy city tour.
  • visit Upper Lake Drive, market square, arts and crafts center, a gem museum and a lapidary.
  • In evening, experience the traditional Kandyan Dance performance.
  • Evening Dinner at hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 3 : Kandy to Nuwara Eliya (-)

  • Morning breakfast at hotel. After breakfast Proceed to Nuwara Eliya.
  • Enroute, visit Ramboda falls, the highest waterfall in the country.
  • Later, proceed to the picturesque tea plantations.
  • Visit the Seetha Amman Temple, the place where Sita is rumored to have been held captive by the king Ravana in the epic, Ramayana.
  • Afterwards, commence a city tour in Nuwara Eliya. Take an optional boat ride through Gregory’s Lake.
  • Evening Dinner at hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 4 : Nuwara Eliya to Colombo (-)

  • Enjoy buffet breakfast at your hotel and proceed to Colombo.
  • Enroute, visit the Kelaniya Temple. Kelaniya Raja Maha Vihara is famous for its beautiful paintings and sculptures depicting various events in the history of Sri Lanka.
  • Visit the special shrine dedicated to Vibushana, King Ravana’s brother, who allied with Rama in the struggle to rescue Sita.
  • Later, proceed for a city and shopping tour in Colombo.
  • Evening Dinner at hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 5 : Colombo to Delhi (-)

  • After breakfast at hotel transfer to airport to board the flight for Delhi.
  • On arrival at Delhi pick-up and transfer to your hotel.
